Instructions:
- In a large bowl, gently toss the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls with the olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper until the ingredients have a thin, glossy coating.
- Fold each fresh basil leaf in half or quarters to create a sturdy base.
- Assemble the skewers by sliding a toothpick through a basil leaf, followed by one mozzarella pearl, and finally one cherry tomato, pushing the ingredients firmly together.
- Arrange the completed skewers on a serving platter and drizzle the balsamic glaze in a zig-zag motion across the top immediately before serving.
