  • 8 oz (225g) mini mozzarella pearls
  • 24 large fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, gently toss the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella pearls with the olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper until the ingredients have a thin, glossy coating.
  2. Fold each fresh basil leaf in half or quarters to create a sturdy base.
  3. Assemble the skewers by sliding a toothpick through a basil leaf, followed by one mozzarella pearl, and finally one cherry tomato, pushing the ingredients firmly together.
  4. Arrange the completed skewers on a serving platter and drizzle the balsamic glaze in a zig-zag motion across the top immediately before serving.
