Ingredients:
- 450g Hard Pretzels
- 57g Unsalted Butter, melted
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Dry Ground Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Fine Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Melt the 57g of butter in a microwave safe dish. Whisk in the 3 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp Dijon, and 1 tbsp yellow mustard until the mixture looks like liquid gold.
- Add the onion powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, and sea salt. Whisk again until no clumps of dry mustard remain.
- Dump the 450g of pretzels into your largest bowl. If they are full twists, give them a few light smacks with a rolling pin to break some up.
- Pour the glaze over the pretzels. Use a large spatula to fold them until every single crevice is glistening.
- Transfer the mixture to your lined baking sheet. Spread them into a single layer.
- Slide them into the oven for 8 minutes. You should start to smell the mustard getting toasted.
- Take them out and give them a good stir. This ensures the underside of the pretzels doesn't get soggy.
- Bake for another 7 minutes until the glaze looks tacky but not wet.
- Let them sit on the tray for at least 10 minutes. They will go from sticky to shatter crisp as they reach room temperature.
