Ingredients:
- 1 lb broccoli florets, bite-sized
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 20 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 12 oz pre-cooked chicken sausage, sliced into rounds
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper directly on the pan. Spread in a single layer and roast for 10–12 minutes until the tips are charred.
- While the broccoli roasts, combine the refrigerated tortellini, sliced chicken sausage, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl, folding gently to coat.
- Remove the pan from the oven and pour the tortellini and sausage mixture over the roasted broccoli, tossing slightly to integrate.
- Top the mixture evenly with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden-brown.
